SEC honors UGA Engineering student-athletes

Five student-athletes in the UGA College of Engineering have been named to the 2018 Spring Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll. Any student-athlete who participates in a Southeastern Conference championship sport, has a grade point average of 3.00 or higher, and has completed a minimum 24 semester hours, is eligible for nomination.

The following UGA College of Engineering student-athletes were named to the honor roll: Caroline Dickey (Track and Field, Civil Engineering), Tim Elliott (Baseball, Civil Engineering), Marta Gonzalez (Tennis, Mechanical Engineering), Alex Larrson (Track and Field, Mechanical Engineering), and Tairyn Montgomery (Track and Field, Biological Engineering).

The 2018 Spring SEC Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2017 Summer, 2017 Fall and 2018 Spring Terms.

In all, 101 University of Georgia student-athletes, ranking fourth most in the conference, were named to the 2018 Spring Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll.
