Dr. Gomillion shows students how the basics of science, technology and engineering can be applied to medical challenges. An assistant professor in the College of Engineering and a member of UGA’s Regenerative Bioscience Center, her research focuses on engineering composite tissue systems, primarily for tissue replacements and pre-clinical tissue modeling for studying disease and screening therapeutics.
