Fun Fact

My original career path was education, but now I fulfill this passion through tutoring for calculus and engineering courses.

Why did you choose UGA?

I chose UGA due to the abundant amount of majors offered here. I have enjoyed interacting with different people from art majors to finance majors in my electives. Athens offers the perfect college experience, from the tailgates on Myers Quad to the allnighters spent at the Miller Learning Center.

Favorite memory as a Bulldog Engineer?

While taking Energy Systems with Dr. Gattie, NAYGN offered an opportunity to tour the new Vogtle III and IV units under construction. This was an amazing experience as we were covering nuclear power in class, reinforcing the content being taught. During the tour we were able to see the original facility of Vogtle I and II and the upgrades being made to the control room technology and security measures for units III and IV.
