UGA Engineering students present real-world design solutions at annual Capstone Showcase

This year’s University of Georgia College of Engineering annual Capstone Design Showcase featured the creative designs of more than 100 student teams who worked with business, industry, non-profit, and community partners over the past academic year to find solutions to real-world challenges. The projects are part of a capstone course that tests senior-level engineering students on the concepts and skills they’ve learned and practiced during their undergraduate studies.

Capstone teams presented their projects to their clients, faculty, and the community at the 2023 showcase, held April 26 at the Classic Center in Athens. Congratulations to all of our 2022-2023 project teams on this significant achievement. Special recognition is extended to the 2023 award recipients, listed below.
