Engineers natural tissue replacements
Dr. Gomillion shows students how the basics of science, technology and engineering can be applied to medical challenges. An assistant professor in the College of Engineering and a member of UGA’s Regenerative Bioscience Center, her research focuses on engineering composite tissue systems, primarily for tissue replacements and pre-clinical tissue modeling for studying disease and screening therapeutics.
