Devanshi Shah, born and raised in Valsad, India, received her Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from India. She graduated with a Master's Degree also in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology with a specialization in Structures, Solid Mechanics, and Materials. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at UGA under the advisement of Dr. Beshoy Morkos. Devanshi is a member of ASEE and ASME. She won the DEED Student Essay Competition at ASEE 2019. She also won the CIE Poster Competition at ASME IDETC/CIE Conference 2019. She co-authored a design education paper nominated for ASEE DEED Best Paper for 2019. Her recent work in Design and Neuroscience was recognized at the 2021 ASME IDETC/CIE Conference as one of the best papers. Devanshi is currently an intern with Fortune 500, Kimberly-Clark, providing her research expertise in sustainability, circular economy, and consumer behavior. She aspires to be a lifelong researcher and scientist, and give her best in contributing to society. Apart from engineering, she loves traveling, cooking, and cricket!
