Matthew is highly interested in combining sustainability, agriculture, hydrology, and engineering in projects. Matthew's current research involves measuring the soil water content, soil matric potential, and stem water potential at pecan orchards across Georgia. His ultimate goal is to use plant water status data to automate irrigation on farms.
