I graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2002 with a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). During this time, I was able to work on the
basic Electrical and Electronic Engineering projects and my thesis book was published in the BUET library. After my graduation, I started to work as a Lecturer at the University of Liberal Arts, Bangladesh and at the same time period, in 2003, I started the M.Sc. program in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at my previous university BUET. While completing this degree, I worked on two different projects related to power electronics and published 3 journals. After completing my M.Sc, I actively worked as a faculty and researcher, and to expand my knowledge, I joined the lab of Dr. Fred R Beyette at the University of Georgia, USA to complete my Ph.D.
My current research is the combination of signal processing and machine learning analysis.
- I design experiments and measure EEG(Electroencephalogram) data from the human scalp with Ultracortex IV headset where dry electrodes are connected (The EEG measuring system is OpenBCI experimental setup).
- To detect the event time, auditory tones are generated by the use of PIC24 Microcontroller and coded in C .
- Using EEGLAB(A tool of MATLAB), EEG features are extracted and analyzed.
